JCDL 2005 Conference Banquet

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is the Rocky Mountain region's leading resource for informal science education. A variety of exhibitions, programs, and activities help Museum visitors experience the natural wonders of Colorado , Earth, and the universe.

The conference banquet will take place in the three floors of the west-facing Leprino Family Atrium and the open air Anschutz Family Sky Terrace. Renowned as the best view in the Denver, it overlooks City Park 's rose garden, lake and boathouse, and the Denver skyline – all silhouetted by the Rocky Mountains .

Guests will have private access to numerous exhibits at the museum, including Space Odyssey, Wildlife Exhibits, and the lobby exhibit for the Gates Planetarium. The Museum's in-house catering service will prepare selections from their award-wining menus, and paper and poster awards will be presented during the course of the evening including the Vannevar Bush Best Paper Award.

Buses will depart the Marriott for the short trip (~4 miles) to the Museum beginning at 5:45, and will return to the hotel beginning at approximately 8:30.

Attendees' conference registration includes one complimentary ticket to the banquet.
