in the conference proceedings and
will be presented at the conference.
The conference is offering several
Best Paper awards. See the description
below for more information.
Submission
Instructions:
-
Papers must be in English with
a limit of 10 pages (approximately
5000 words) for full papers and
2 pages for short papers.
- All
papers must be original contributions
(i.e., not have been previously
published or currently under review
for publication elsewhere).
- All
contributions must follow the
ACM format guidelines and use
the template provided (http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html).
- Preferred
submission format is Adobe PDF.
- Submissons
will be accepted beginning in
December using the START electronic
submission system.

Best
Paper Awards
Due
to the enthusiastic response of
donors, the JCDL Organizing Committee
is pleased to announce the following
Best Paper Awards for the authors
of JCDL 2004 papers and posters:
1)
Vannevar Bush Award: The Vannevar
Bush Best Paper Award (an award
of $1,000) is given to the best
paper presented at JCDL. All full
papers that are accepted for resentation
are eligible for consideration.
The winning paper is selected by
the JCDL Steering Committee.
2)
IEEE-CS Technical Committee on Digital
Libraries, Best Student Paper Award
for the JCDL 2004 Conference: $500
towards conference travel and a
plaque will be awarded in this category
for the best full paper having a
student as the first author. Papers
qualifying for this award must be
marked as "Student full paper"
to be eligible for consideration.
3)
Best International Paper Award:
An award of $1000 will be presented
by The University of Arizona for
the best international full paper,
a paper whose first author is from
outside of the United States. To
be considered, papers qualifying
for this award must be marked as
"International full paper."
4)
Best Poster Award: The University
of Arizona will present an award
of $500 for the best poster presented
at the conference. |
